MNCVE + SKETCHSYNTH + de/RASTRA

Greeaat track from MnCve where he employs those organic textures which I enjoy so much.

Drawing your own control surface.
Imagine the possibilities of a control surface that you draw to top up your necessities, SketchSytnth allows you to draw your control surface with a piece of paper and a marker and sends OSC (open sound control) messages to a synthesizer (it could be another software though, as long as it supports OSC). Billy Keyes created this as a final project for his Interactive Art and Computational Design course at Carnegie Mellon University, and it just amazed me to see how one can interact between digital and non-digital surfaces.

de/RASTRA
Kyle Evans came up with a really cool instrument called "de/Rastra".
Basically, the de/Rastra is and audio+video instrument which generates imagery and the acoustic equivalence of it in real time, but I won't write too much about it as I think there is a great load of information about it HERE.
